hello hello! I am back from my trip! I had a really great time! It was really nice to just get away from life... :) but it was sad at the same time...!
So we left thursday right after school, and we were going to camp the first night, but the campground was full! so we had to stay at a motel (EWWW) for the very first night. It was fun though! And I got one more shower in... :) So friday morning morning my sweet mother woke me up by bringing me breakfast in bed (this case, my sleeping bag on the floor) and the funny thing was... have you ever heard me say "what the french, toast!" (i either say that or curse you aqua skum) and anyways, she woke me up, and i said "what the french, toast!" and my mom said "no, it's pancakes!" LOL! it was funny. delish! and then we were off! we got to our campsite, and spent the rest of the day setting up camp, and getting everything in order, and we went on a little hike, and I fell asleep on a rock, laying in the sun. SO RELAXING! and my face got so burned! I look like freakin rudolph! LOL! I should go live in the north pole! just kidding. after that was done, we tried to catch some lizards, and i almost got one! i got its tail, and it was still moving... weirdness... anyways! that night was SOOOOO cold! and my sleeping bag was broken! it wouldn't zip up! it was horrible. i didn't think i'd ever feel my toes again! the next day we spent exploring goblin valley! and lots of hiking/walking! it was so fun! we went hiking this slot canyon and it was soooo neat! I also took a nap on top of a rock there, and i thought i was getting attacked by a bear, but it was only a german shepard... lol. my mom thought it was really funny. then we went out to this little burger shack in the middle of nowhere, and i wasted 2 whole dollars trying to listen to Far Away... it was sad, but when it finally worked i was like PRAISE! lol. i loved hanging out with Mallory (the only other teenager) and we had a great time making up one liner jokes the whole trip! so funny! i'll have to tell you some. :) I have to say that my favorite part of the whole trip was looking at the stars at night! they are so beautiful! i love them! I love just thinking about life and not having to worry about anything when it is just me and the stars, and my brain... :) i know that thinking is a dangerous pastime, but sometimes danger is what you need! lol! we had a fake fire the whole time since real fires were "forbidden." I had a great time! but i've never been so thankful to shower in my life!!! bye bye!!!
